Daydream is the fourth (ommiting Merry Christmas) studio album by American singer, Mariah Carey, released on October 3rd, 1995 by Columbia Records. Carey started the production of the record from November 1994 to August 1995. It remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, having more than twenty million copies sold worldwide, and became the singer's second album to be certified diamond in USA. It was promoted by the lead #1 US single, "Fantasy", and "One Sweet Day" (the longest running number one single on Billboard Hot 100) as also "Always Be My Baby". Others are including "Open Arms", "Forever" and "Underneath the Stars". To make better, and stronger promotion, Carey embarked on Daydream World Tour, visiting Japan and Europe.
